May they find the same beautiful happiness, peace and safety in Haven, that were all taken away from them by the mindless zombies, cowards and wussies at the New York State Department of "Conservation" (NSYDEC / NYSDE"C").

P'nut the Squirrel and his brother Fred the Racoon killed by despicable bureaucrats and their incompetent mindless zombies.

Not a peep out of anyone at the NYSDEC Gestapo. Not so tough anymore after raiding P'nut and Fred's family's home while armed, to seize two most happy and innocent animals that had rescued and become loving pets, to then claim they were bitten by the friendliest animals possible and kill them. No temporary rehoming, no time under observation, just killed them right away.

There isn't a single record to refer to in the matter of rabies ever being transmitted to a human by a squirrel.

Not a single record in existence, yet NYSDEC brainless imbeciles killed these animals for absolutely no reason.

This is obviously standard practice at NYSDEC - we want to change this, as these actions are the complete opposite of CONSERVATION and COMPASSION towards other innocent creatures and friends to humans.

You are less deserving of using that word after the incompetence, negligence, lack of compassion and lack of common sense displayed. Having an army with you for 5 hours to take away what you had classified as "wild animals" - even though the squirrel especially had been a pet since only a baby and there had been an attempt to release it back into the wild, which had failed - to then claim someone was bitten and what do you do? You put both innocent pets down right away to decapitate them, because of your own incompetence and carelessness. Why spend 5 hours doing something that requires effort but is beneficial and productive for the people that make your budget and jobs possible in the first place, when it is so much easier and intimidating to terrorize animal lovers and two of their pets? These creatures were pets, even if not legal on paper, they were still PETS and they were loved.

THEY TRUSTED HUMANS and gave them all their affection as well. THEY TRUSTED YOU TOO, you "Conservation" people. And this was the best that the NYSDEC could do. Take them from people that loved them and then provide a reason to kill them immediately. Shame on you, you despicable bureaucrats and your staff of mindless zombies.

People, send your feedback on the matter to the Governor and the Grim Reapers themselves, because it clearly took their whole team working together to achieve these deaths without a care in the world. Not one capable person at NYSDEC to bring some common sense into the "talented" mix and ask "how did you get bitten by the world’s friendliest squirrel? And regardless, this is what you are trained to do" and "you just picked them up and you are already killing them, just like that?". Not one competent, never mind compassionate, person amongst them to have the slightest concern. This unscrupulous process must be all too common to them all.
